Strengthen the TEAM!

Join the campaign to support the growth and future of TEAMability

After 20 years of visionary thinking and positive outcomes, TEAMability became the therapy anchor at Morgan’s Multi-Assistance Center (The MAC), a new centralized community of service providers for individuals with disabilities. In 2022, TEAMability moved into a 10,000-square-foot therapy space, a specialized, state-of-the-art environment for active learning.

Now, TEAMability can offer hope to more families. We have dramatically increased our capacity by moving to The MAC:

    • More than doubled our therapy staff
    • Our weekly patient load has increased 263%
    • Individual therapy services have grown from 4,176 hours to 12,122 hours in 2 years
    • As of last fiscal year, our new space enabled us to serve 438% more clients.

While we celebrate our growth, there is more we can do to serve the community’s needs. Our facility is designed to accommodate nearly twice the therapy hours. The need is urgent; currently, we have more than 100 families with a medical referral waiting for an opening. The campaign aims to add the staff and structure needed to reach our potential.

TEAMability has experienced tremendous growth while remaining fiscally responsible. Our budget grew from $832,098 four years ago to $3,099,750 projected for in 2025. Budgets for the last four years have been ‘in the black’. However, contributions have not kept pace with budget increases. Our growth moving forward will require investment by our community of supporters.

To sustain our increased service level, the campaign aims to raise $5,000,000 by 2027.

You can help us gain more capacity and strength to:

  • Meet the community demand for our services
  • Fully utilize our amazing new therapy facility
  • Amplify our impact on the lives of persons living with disabilities

TEAMability needs resources to remain the community’s premier outpatient clinic treating complex disabilities.

Led by a social worker, caregivers of The MAC clients gather to share their experiences, plan family outings, as well as get information, resources, and support.
  • Cortical Visual Impairment Program
Growth of our services for clients diagnosed with CVI, involving functional visual assessment, guided therapy, school reports, and caregiver education.
  • Physical Therapy Intensive Program
A period of intensive therapy with a high repetition of exercises, targeting specific motor skills can achieve significant progress in a shorter timeframe.
  • Neuro-developmental Treatment Center of Excellence
TEAMability’s Center will be a community resource for individuals with neuromuscular dysfunction by providing access to certified NDT therapists.
  • Assistive Technology Access Program
Expansion of this University of Texas program to more clients to improve their abilities and independence using prescribed assistive technology.
