Working Together for Success

TEAMability is committed to teaching the next generation of professionals how to address the complex needs of individuals with disabilities and the challenges faced by their families. Teaching and mentoring requires that our team stay current with our clinical skills and knowledgeable about innovations in our disciplines. Learning together creates an environment that provides best-in-class care.

TEAMability is the outpatient clinical training site for the University of the Incarnate Word School of Physical Therapy Pediatric Residency for physical therapists. Each resident spends 6 months at TEAMability gaining clinical experience and a better understanding of the impact of raising a child with disabilities on the entire family.

Master level graduate students at Our Lady of the Lake University Woolfolk School of Communication Sciences and Disorders complete clinical rotations at TEAMability and TEAMability is a practicum site for OLLU Worden School of Social Service students earning bachelor’s or master’s degrees.

Occupational Therapy students from multiple universities throughout Texas choose TEAMability for gaining observation hours, completing Level II Fieldwork or executing Capstone projects.

99.1% of workers want to be part of an organization that nourishes collaboration .
